Founder/Chief Executive/Chairman, Tristan Capital Partners
Ric Lewis’s Tristan Capital Partners is Britain’s largest black-owned and led company. He is chief executive and chairman of the London-based real estate investment management company, which with more than £8 billion in assets under management is known as the ‘Goldman Sachs’ of the European real estate world.
The firm specialises in investment strategies in all property types across the UK and continental Europe for select institutional and private investors.
Outside of work, Ric volunteers the majority of his time to organisations dedicated to improving the access to and the quality of education, especially for children from less advantaged areas and environments.
In 2009, Ric founded his own charity, The Black Heart Foundation (www.blackheartfoundation.org), dedicated to supporting initiatives that improve educational benefits for young people and providing opportunity to those who are otherwise denied it. He personally funds 10 fully paid scholarships for university students year-on-year.
Ric also serves on the Board of Governors of King Solomon Academy, the Board of Directors of the Eastside Young Leaders Academy, is chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Institute of Imagination at London Children’s Museum and is a Trustee of The Springboard Bursary Trust.
Following a private dinner organised by the Powerlist at which they met, Ric has agreed to fund Tom Ilube’s African Gifted Foundation.
